HORSES STRAW AND MAIZE

Equestrian Club “NONIUS”, which successfully works in the Gornje Medjurovo, during the first week in August, has organized an art camp that brought together students and teachers of Middle Art School in Nis and students of Academy of Arts. This year`s topic of creativity, in the ambience of the village Gornje Medjurovo was making a figure of natural materials – straw, cornstalks and other agricultural products. Under the guidance of Professor Slavko Pesic, support teachers Slavoljub Stankovic, creative skills in this “art event” showed: Jelisaveta Mitic, Jovana Nikolic, Sara Stankovic, Mirjana Stanisic, Milena Krstic, Dea Kurtic, Esko Kurtic, Vladimir Djordjevic, Dunja Ciric, Nemanja Savic, Jelana Zivkovic, Jelena Miljkovic. To the young artists, the camp participants were jointed and children from the village.

“This is the first year and we hope it will not be the last in organizing such activities – highlighted Jasna Ilijeska. The exhibition of works will place 6th and 7th August on the football playground of football club Moravac within third in row equestrian jumping Cup “Sveta Petka” in Gornje Medjurovo. After completion of this manifestation – according to Ilijeska, the entire setting of this unique exhibition of figures, will be gifted to the city for space decoration.
